Jerome is literally built into the side of a mountain and is just a few miles above Cottonwood. We took the scenic route on our way up from Prescott to Sedona. The last pic was taken a couple of miles before coming into Jerome. The Grand Hotel is also pictured, which is an old hotel still in operation today. It sits above Jerome and overlooks the Verde Valle. There is nothing particularly beautiful about the other pics shown below, but the town reminded me a lot of some of the towns in Europe that professional cyclists ride through during the Tour de France, so I thought I'd post them, too.
