Final Pics from the Cabin

Last pictures at the cabin, Heaven's Reflection, taken with the drone. Beautiful cabin and our first Airbnb rental. Stephen was very accommodating and helpful and we do it again! Departing early tomorrow morning to head back to Ohio. I can't speak for everyone, but I had a great time!

Our friends, the Huber's moved to North Carolina a few months ago and we're only 1 1/2 hours away from where we are staying, so we headed to Lake Junaluska for a quick visit. Great catching up with them!

Got up early this morning and ate breakfast at our favorite breakfast spot in Gatlinburg, Log Cabin Pancake House!🥰

The Old Mill Restaurant

Lupper (Late lunch, early supper) at the Old Mill Restaurant with the kids this afternoon. Yum! One or favorite restaurants in Pigeon Forge! 

The Island - Pigeon Forge

Stopped by The Island in Pigeon Forge on the way back down from Clingman's Dome. Fun spot with lots of stores, restaurants and rides, but big difference in temp today, as it was 65° up there and measuring 95° down here. 

Clingman's Dome

Beautiful spot! Clingman's Dome is over 6600 ft. above sea level. Here are a few pics from that location.

A quick stop at Newfound Gap on our way up to Clingman's Dome.

GSMNP - Newfound Gap

Traveled back into Smokey Mountain Nation Park today. First stop was to snap a pic of Brandon and Elli beside the entry sign. Ben and Aubri went to take a look at some caverns this morning.

Tello Drone Pics

Took the Tello mini drone out to take a shot of the back of the cabin we're staying in. It's amazing how much goes into planning one of these cabins on the side of a hill/mountain.

After the forest fire of 2016 they had to rebuild much of this. Glad we decided to ride the Skylift and walk the Skybridge.

After Cade's Cove, we traveled back to Gatlinburg and took the Skylift up to the Skybridge.

We spotted this black bear toward the end of our drive around Cade's Cove this morning. Made the getting up early and the long wait worth the trip😊
