Lunch and Souvenirs
Route 89 south from Bryce to Zion. Stopped for lunch at Ruby's Inn and General Store and then again about an hour later at a nice little gift shop about 15 min outside Zion.
Bryce Canyon
Wow! What a beautiful place! Had a great time at Bryce Canyon. Here are some pics of our short time spent there.
Day 3 - Pit Stop, Bear Valley Resort
Our guide goes by his last name only, Pasquale. He's been awesome! I knew I liked him when he said "Alright ladies, let's get loaded. That's enough pics. You're going to run out of film." 😆
This pitstop was a bonafied RV Park! Welcome to Bear Valley Resort and RV Park!
Day 3 - Bryce Canyon and Zion Trip
Up at 4:45am (7:45am Ohio Time) and grabbed a quick pic of this lovely lady on our way to catch our bus for a trip to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park today!
Main Street Station & The California Hotel Casino
A couple blocks north of Fremont Street is the California Hotel & Casino and Main Street Station. We really liked these, as they are older, but have a lot of nostalgia.
We ate dinner at the Triple 7, inside the Main Street Station. Great meal and, in general, much cheaper than The Strip, where we are staying.
Day 2 - Back to Fremont Street
We walked as far south as the MGM Grand and explored most of it. Once we were done there we took the bus back up to Fremont Street and spent the rest of afternoon and evening there. I don't have any pics of some of the craziness going on there, but here are a couple pics of Fremont Street (Old Vegas) in all it's glory.
Day 2 - Flashback
After spending most of the morning by the pool (Ugh! My sunburned eyelids!), we put in another 18,000 steps exploring throughout the day.
In 2009, our first night was spent at Polo Towers, shown behind the Fatburger restaurant. We're almost sure this used to be a McDonald's, because we stopped there for breakfast with the kids.
Bellagio - Fountain Show
We took the bus south, back to The Mirage. After a short break, we walked down to the Bellagio to watch the fountain show.
Fremont Street - Las Vegas
Day 1 was a long day, with lots of walking. We got the RCA Deuce bus pass, but still managed a personal best, 27,000 steps today. We spent some time at the outlet malls and some of our afternoon exploring historic Fremont Street. Here are some pics taken on Fremont St or near it. Check out those gas prices!
Las Vegas - Day 1
We're off to tour Vegas. We haven't been here since our 2009 family trip. It has changed so much since then.
